I swore I would never read it -> fast forward to Christmas and what would I receive in the mail from my lovely SM? The first Twilight book with a WRITTEN note in the front cover to me (and boy was that note good!). What was I to do? SM who had been trying to get me hooked for MONTHS on the books just sent me this book in the mail. SO I picked it up read it. I was HOOKED.
Then I SWORE I would never spend money on any part of the Twilight Saga, I would borrow the remaining books, rent them from the library anything but spend money on them... Think again! I BOUGHT book number 2 and number 3 and will be buying book 4 (the last) in August (when it comes in soft cover - because ya know I need the entire collection).
So I was hooked, I went back on my solemn promise to myself about #1 reading them, and then #2 spending money on them. My last FEEBLE attempt at trying to control myself was not to purchase the movies. The movies are total crap (but I'm addicted anyway). The acting by Robert Patterson and Kristen Stewart are not so great, really. And so far I have not spent money on purchasing them... I did rent Twilight from the library for 50 cents a day 2 or 3 times. Does that really have to count?
But then I shared the sickness :) I got my mom hooked and SHE bought the second video because she couldn't wait to see it... If you can't beat them join them right and share the disease?
If you check the title of this post it's just the "Prequel" unfortunately this story gets better, or worse you judge. It's really gotten out of hand.
Ok, I give. I think I will be reading Twilight. If you like it, it must be good!
