Art in Bloom

Art in Bloom was an AMAZING event that I had the joy of attending with my bestie.

Art in Bloom is in their 27th Year and is hosted at the Minneapolis Art Institute. More than 150 florists took part in the event. The floral arrangements were inspired by works of art in the museum and were near by the works that inspired them. The event was free, and admittance to the museum is actually always free as well. One of the cool things about the event was I could also see all of their art and artifacts as everything was pretty much displayed as it usually is on a regular basis.
*it took me a bit of time to realize that they were inspired by art*

While this is not a flower piece I thought this was very unique and interesting

I'm not sure what this piece is really but I liked it. I loved the little boat in the arrangement.

Me and my bestie!
Sister of my heart
In HS we were sitting at a baseball game chatting and a dad turned towards us and asked us if we were sisters! I still love that story!

A few other beauties and favorites

I love the green and white arrangement on the right. My favorite color - lime green!

I was apparently loving all of the orange used

One last picture of the interior of the MIA. Gorgeous details, the whole building was beautiful.
