A few thoughts on a Friday

Happy Friday Friends! So excited to have another work week behind me and embracing a fun weekend! Tonight I am headed to a trial run for a new restaurant opening soon and tomorrow I am having friends over for cupcakes + games.

A few thoughts I've had swirling around in my head this week.

- I am a blessed girl. On Monday I went into this week with no plans for the week or weekend and now as I reflect and it's Friday - I can tell you my week & weekend are sprinkled with friends & activities. I am blessed by the people in my life.

- I 'officially' changed jobs this week and said goodbye to a place I have called home & loved for almost 2 years. Adventures are coming - I can feel it!

- Last February I began (another) weigh loss journey via weight watchers. I plateaued in June and have really fluctuated the same 2-5 Ibs since then. No More! This week I wrote down goals and prizes to get back on track.

- It takes me forever to read non-fiction books. Not sure why, but it does. That being said - I have a pile of books I want to or am in the middle of reading right now.

Now that I have written one of the most boring blog posts ever - enjoy!

Ps. Tell me your fun weekend plans? Do you have things planned, or are you happy to stay at home and curl up with your family?

  1. Once I pop this baby out of me, I'm joining you on the weight watchers band wagon!!! :) Love weight watchers! Oh...and Jim and I start our prenatal classes this weekend! Breastfeeding and Newborn care on Saturday morning and then next week we start a 3 week Childbirth class! Fun stuff :) Have a great weekend!! Your lists and goals always motivate me!

  2. I love when plans seem to fall into place throughout the week like that! I need to get back on the weight loss wagon. I fell off when I got sick for 2 weeks & I'm having a hard time getting back on now! My husband works all weekend, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet! I think I see a lot of blogging & book reading in my future! = )
