{Day two}
Washington: Leavenworth A Bavarian Town
Leavenworth today is a Bavarian Village but in 1922 Leavenworth started dying. In 1965 community Leaders came up with a plan to theme Leavenworth as a Bavarian Village modeled after Germanys' alpine villages. Today Leavenworth is a premier tourist destination.

Forever Friends

Bavarian Starbucks

Bavarian McDonalds

 We tasted wine from several wineries.

 Doesn't this just remind you of Sound of Music? Carm kept breaking into "The Hills are Alive {with the sound of music}". I really felt like I was in a little village where 2010 did not exist and expected to see people walking about in old attire and greet me "Guten Tag Fraulein Becca."

{Supper At Andres Keller in Leavenworth}

Goulash with homemade Spatzel
the spatzel was AMAZING

Polish Sausage with sauerkraut

After supper we lugged all of our purchases to Leavenworth Riverfront Park {2nd Riverfront Park of the trip}.
Evidence 1 of having to much wine

 Breathtaking ... clear blue skies with clouds hung on invisible threads.

It really doesn't get much better than this... until you see mountain men the next day. Then you don't really care about gorgeous mountains and clear blue skies.

We ended the day in a heated hot tub with the sunset and mountains behind us.

I'm a pretty funny person Carm loves to laugh at me, er with me
Either way by power of deduction I make people laugh
